The project of developing and analyzing electronic sensor for odor

Absrtact
The Environmental Protection Administration Executive Yuan has established the "Standards for Stationary Sources Air Pollutants Emission Standards" to control air pollutants. The analysis method for odor pollutants uses the " Triangular Odor Bag method " (NIEA A201) announced by the Environmental Analysis Laboratory. However, the conditions for sampling and analysis process are relatively strict. Therefore this project is based on the NIEA A201 analysis method, and intends to evaluate the feasible technologies and solutions for the electronic sensor (electronic noses, e-noses) of odor pollutants. The research process planning of this project includes the collection and statistical analysis of odor sensing data, the training and verification of e-noses, and a technical observation. Finally, feasible technologies and solutions for electronic sensors for odor pollutants will be developed. The training and verification of the electronic nose targets three compounds of ammonia gas, methyl hydrosulfide and hydrogen sulfide, and is divided into two stages: single gas and mixed gas. So far, 10 literature reviews have been completed; the manufacturers have invited three companies to confirm their participation, namely J○ Environmental Technology and Energy Saving Co., Ltd. (called company A), Green ○ Technology INC. (called company B) and Everrist International, Inc. (called company C). After training and testing, the instrument of company B is most likely to replace NIEA A201, but there are still technical problems to be overcome. The instrument of company A can be used for the source of odor pollution, and the instrument of company C is more suitable for indoor space.
